Polymer Science tours Chemstar

Polymer Science students were treated to a tour of Chemstar's Brookhaven manufacturing facility today, experiencing firsthand starch (biopolymer) modification processes, process control and automation, quality assurance, and customer end uses. Many thanks to Bill Barksdale, Production Supervisor, and Sam Werler, Corporate Quality Assurance Director, for spending the entire day investing in Brookhaven School District students.
